The Industry’s Internet promotion plan should be based on the promotion plan presented above. The main communication channels are personal selling, SP and PR, but targeted advertising is a must.
Using online marketing techniques in tandem with offline marketing channels will also serve to enhance the Industry’s image. This should primarily be achieved by well placed and targeted advertising campaigns. Previous work from the companies within the Industry, both offline and online should also serve to generate business, as new clients can be sourced by the existing client base.
The role of Internet in personal selling can be used as a business tool when presenting basics of multimedia and former cases to the customer. The promotional issue comes with the presentation. The other way is to press new visiting cards with the name of the companies Internet domain.
